Homemade Cinnamon Rolls

Soft, fluffy rolls with a gooey cinnamon filling and cream cheese frosting.
1. 1 cup of warm (110°F) of milk
2. 2 1/4 teaspoons (1 packet) of of active dry yeast
3. 1/2 cup of, divided of granulated sugar
4. 2 large, at room temperature of eggs
5. 1/4 cup (4 tablespoons) of softened, for frosting of unsalted butter
6. 1 teaspoon of of salt
7. 4 cups of of all-purpose flour
8. 3/4 cup of packed, for filling of brown sugar
9. 2 tablespoons of ground, for filling of cinnamon
10. 4 ounces of softened of cream cheese
11. 1 1/2 cups of of powdered sugar
12. 1/2 teaspoon of pure of vanilla extract
1. In a large bowl, combine warm milk, 2 tablespoons of sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
2. Add remaining sugar, eggs, melted butter, and salt. Mix well.
3. Gradually add flour, mixing until a soft dough forms. Knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
4. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
5. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon for the filling. Roll dough into a 16x12 inch rectangle on a floured surface.
6. Spread softened butter over the dough, then sprinkle evenly with cinnamon-sugar mixture.
7. Starting from a long edge, tightly roll up the dough. Cut into 12 equal slices.
8. Place rolls in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
9. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
10. For the frosting, beat cream cheese and butter until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla, beat until fluffy.
11. Spread frosting over warm rolls before serving.
