Guacamole

A classic Mexican dip made with ripe avocados, perfect for parties or as a topping.
1. 3 ripe, peeled and pitted of avocados
2. 2 tablespoons of fresh of lime juice
3. 1/4 cup of finely diced of red onion
4. 1/4 cup of chopped fresh of cilantro
5. 1 medium, seeded and diced of tomato
6. 1 small, seeded and minced of jalapeño
7. 1 clove, minced of garlic
8. 1/2 teaspoon of of salt
9. 1/4 teaspoon of of ground cumin
10. for serving of tortilla chips
1. In a medium bowl, mash the avocados with a fork, leaving some chunks for texture.
2. Add lime juice and stir to combine (this helps prevent browning).
3. Gently fold in red onion, cilantro, tomato, jalapeño, and garlic.
4. Season with salt and cumin, adjusting to taste.
5. Cover with plastic wrap pressed directly onto the surface of the guacamole and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let flavors meld.
6. Serve with tortilla chips or as a topping for tacos, burritos, or nachos.
